Our Black Mica is a highly pigmented matte powder that you can do so much
with, it's insane! Black is our only mica that has no shine at all (although,
you can certainly add as much shimmer as you like by adding any of our other
sparkle micas.) Many of our loyal customers prefer using our Black Mica in lieu
of Black Iron Oxide in their formulas because there's no need for grinding. The
Black Iron Oxide in this mica formula is already ground extremely finely; in
addition, it's easier to mix because the mica is added. Black Mica really is a
great choice for a lot of reasons. A definite inventory staple.
Uh, oh! We feel another Multi-tasker coming on! Yep! Black mica can be used in
any mineral makeup product you want to add it to.
Just in case you haven't had an art class, we thought we'd mention here that
black can be added to ANY color. If you want to tone down your blue for example,
add a touch of black. You can even use black in your foundation color blends.
Just a touch - really just a little - will tone down those shades that are just too
bright.
