make formulating a snap! Use the Color Blends with each other to create an unlimited range of foundation shades.
This is the formula for the basic color blend. You may purchase our more
sophisticated Color Blends at
Proprietary Color Blends.
Combine all ingredients
(except for Gold Pearl Mica) in food processor or coffee grinder and blend very well. I highly recommend the food processor attachment of the Oster 6870; it is available at Wal-Mart for approximately $40. The blades on this food processor are very low; this food processor also has a good motor that won't burn out easily. It holds and blends approximately 2
oz of powder.
Add the Gold Pearl Mica last and gently blend until completely mixed. The Color
Blend will be a deep, rich mahogany/reddish brown.
You can use
this Color Blend to make Mineral Veils, Foundation and Concealer. Here's
our basic base to color blend ratio for our kits.
